Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana
Started in April 2015, Mudra gives loans without collateral through banks to start or grow a small non-farm business.
- Shishu: up to ₹50,000.
- Kishore: ₹50,000 to ₹5 lakh.
- Tarun: ₹5 lakh to ₹10 lakh.
- Tarun Plus: up to ₹20 lakh, for those who have repaid a Tarun loan.
PM Vishwakarma
Launched in September 2023 for artisans in 18 traditional trades, including carpenters, potters, tailors, goldsmiths and boat makers.
- Skill training with a daily stipend, and a toolkit incentive of up to ₹15,000.
- Collateral-free loans of ₹1 lakh, then ₹2 lakh, at 5% interest.
- Register at a CSC with Aadhaar, mobile and bank details; verification is done through the Gram Panchayat.
