What it is
Families without a pucca house receive ₹1.20 lakh in the plains to build one, paid in instalments directly to their bank account as construction progresses.
Wages for 90 days of work under MGNREGA and ₹12,000 for a toilet under the Swachh Bharat Mission can be added.
Who can benefit
- Families who are homeless or live in kutcha houses, as recorded in the Awaas+ survey and approved by the Gram Sabha.
How to apply
- 1Contact your Gram Pradhan, Panchayat Secretary or the Block office to have your name included in the survey.
- 2Keep your Aadhaar, bank passbook and job card ready.
- 3Check the status of your house on pmayg.nic.in.
